Episode 5 part 2

Make a comment about the relationship between Rudi, the German airman, and Chas and his gang? Do they treat him like the enemy? How might Rudi have changed their feelings about Germans? In particular, how has Rudi's presence affected Nicky? (write a thoughtful comment that answers these questions)

Why do you think the author choose to introduce the complication of Rudi into the story? What would've Chas and his gang done without the issue of hiding a prisoner of war? Would the story have been as interesting? (write a thoughtful comment that answers these questions)

  1. I don’t think that the story would be more interesting and the German is probably going to caught by the English so I don’t know why Chas and his gang are trying to hide him.

  2. No I don’t think that they are acting like the German is a enemy.
Chas and his gang has made a good bond between them and the German with Rudi.
I think that Rudi has changed their mind about the Germans and how they are like.
Nicky’s appearance might of made Nicky feel left out.

  8. I think the Rudi feels fine around the gang hoping the don't tell the police about him. I also think the author introuced Rudi to give the kids different thoughts about the Germans
